For 7 months I didn't have time to workout, till 2 weeks back A and I played an hour's squash game. i think I improved? Since the first time I played with him, he always describe me for having lazy legs, 'cause I barely move my legs and 80% of the time can't catch the squash ball. Ohwell. I AM DOING BETTER YAY!
Yesterday I finally get to swim after 7 months of waiting as well. I love swimming, a lot. Whenever I'm stress or need a break, submerging myself in the calm water would be the first on my list. It's the best place for me to relax and think. Not sure if anyone has this same characteristic ^^ it's an amazing feeling of serenity. My parents used to bring us 3 little monsters to swim way before I can remember. Then I got to love it anyway. Every Sunday we'd go to our Uncle's condominium for a swim. So fun hehe. And in primary school, my mom would make sure all 3 of us are in the swimming CCA to get the Bronze Silver Gold Certification, other than that, it's up to us to do what we want! :p
I did a 20 laps swim in 30 minutes with sissyJ, involving some sprints in between the sets. It is important to do warm up and cool down stretching before and after we start our workout because the sudden intensity might cause injuries. So we did some stretching from top to bottom + 6 laps of warm up swim. Followed by 30seconds 100% strength + 30 seconds 20% strength for 15 minutes. Did my last 10 minutes swim for cool down + stretching from bottom upwards (have this habit from my Secondary school Dragon Boat days).
