SHRONNTRAVELLOGUE: REVEALED. & THE AUTHENTIC TASTE OF TAIWAN

Disclaimer: To friends and readers who have not known, this is an official declaration of myself as a Weight Management Wellness Coach, and a Herbalife Independent Distributor. My job is to help people to lose weight, to gain weight and improve health. I have been in this industry since April 2015 because I found the healthiest way to lose weight, thus I want to bring this gift to people around me who've been struggling with their weight or shape.

I have been hiding this truth with a lot of struggles myself because I didn't wanted any friends or people around me to distant from me after knowing this fact, or to even reject my help before I say a word. However, I've benefited and learnt a lot from this family of mine and I can't hide anymore of it. I'm proud to say I'm from Herbalife Nutrition, and I'm from President Heilong & Wanzi's(黑龙丸子)team. I vow to continue learning everyday and help people who are serious about changing themselves with the guidance of my coaches with 97% Taiwanese. We are a close-knitted family who share happiness and knowledge to help one another's growth, just for one return -- continue to educate our next generation.

My Senior Coach Momo, once blog about her, starting her career in this industry. She mentioned, "I will pen down my experience here. If it works, I will share it with you, if it doesn't I will also publish it truthfully." However, that was 8 years ago. Working 16 hours daily for a year, she earned SGD4,000 monthly. Now 8 years later, she is earning SGD10,000 monthly. It is through hard work.

Therefore, I'm declaring it here. I know this can work because I've coaches whom have done it. I am attending for classes to learn how to give my students their ideal results through weight management and healthy lifestyle. I am a Nutritional Wellness Coach and I do not earn a penny through membership. Till this point, if you are unable to accept it because you have your own thinking, no problem. Family, friends and readers who understand me well enough, you will know Shronn. Shronn is filled with the sense of Justice and does not tolerate any unethical people or happenings. I will update you on my life with Herbalife Nutrition, and what I've learnt throughout this journey which I have decided to stay for a lifetime. If there is anyone around you who is looking for a weight management coach, regardless to gain/lose/maintain their weight, welcome to introduce them to me if you trust Shronn. If you wish to join me on this mission of changing people's life, giving them health, feel free to get in touch too.

It is the third time I flew to Taiwan. All three times were a different experience, for a different purpose, but I fell in love with Taiwan every single time. Their culture and kindness is always the same, or I should say I felt more kindness from the people there in this trip. I brought A's luggage with me, and it just reminds me of him alllllll the time. Ooops :x
This trip, I will be going to learn new knowledge from my Taiwan coaches with decades of experience. It will be a 4.5-days of in-depth training with strict rules to follow.

The sunset above the clouds was amazing that day, but I was sitting at the aisle, so I got no choice to shoot this man into the picture! Hope you don't mind, Mister!

We've finally arrived at Taipei! For the past 2 trips to Taipei, I only know that there is a way to Taipei, which is taking the High Speed Rail, Airport > A1 Bus > Taoyuan HSR Station. However, I found another way! 国光客运 KUO-KUANG eBus took us slightly longer than the HSR, but it only cost NTD250 (if I remember correctly), as compared to the HSR would probably cost more than NTD400. Buy the bus ticket from the ticketing counter, and all the way to the last stop! As you can see from the clock, it was 23:06, when we reach our hostel, we all knocked out. Hahaha!

Off we go! The official day 1 in Taiwan! "来,回头一笑" (Translate: Guys, turn back and smile action) and that's what they did -- Always ready for a photo.

First stop阜杭豆浆: One month before our trip, Coach Ruth has been raving about this soymilk fritters for breakfast where we MUST go! The shop is at level 2, but we started queuing at level 1 far away from the entrance of the staircase... So while the rest were queuing, I decided to go up and take a look. And I'm like, OMG I MUST EAT THIS LOL. They all look so good!!! Its the food I'm saying..
After queuing 20-30 minutes, we finally got it!!! I told the lady, "give me the most famous pancake please! So she gave me the shop's signature: 厚饼夹蛋夹油条 Thick Pancake with Egg and fritters which is the one at the bottom of this picture! :D Accompanied by a warm bowl of soybean. *screammssss* I wanna go back >< We had breakfast over here for 4 days! IT IS JUST TOO DELICIOUS! When I posted this on my facebook, all the other Taiwanese coaches are all drooling on my post comment :p
Went to Taipei's Herbalife office, coincidentally met Junjun here, and met people from Hong Kong!! :O Francis and Ellie on the left! Both their story is amazing! I'm glad to be sharing the same healthy mission with them! Sharing the same mission from people all round the world, its so cool! How cool is that to have friends all round the world!

The "OMG YOU ALL FINISHED THE POMELO WITHOUT LEAVING A PIECE FOR ME" face.

Happy Birthday Geraldine!

We went to this Chiropractic opened by a family filled with love. Spinal realignment is important! It affect every part of our body and even the digestive system. On the top left is our Master Shifu, beside him (in black jacket) is his son, the successor of this skill and business, and the Ladyboss would be in between the father and son. She always ensure all of us have filtered clean water to drink! I love this family a lot, and will definitely go back for realignment when I'm back in Taiwan every single time!

Just in time for Geraldine's (bottom-centre, right beside me) birthday that day! Ladyboss found a cake from the fridge, and offered it as Geraldine's birthday cake and we sang a birthday song together! You get what I mean now??? <3 <3 A family filled with love!

Inspired by Andrea Chong from her NYC trip, I decided to have one myself too! Asia-NYC Styled.

And so did the rest... This shot feels like duckling crossing the road :P

We reached the meeting point for our dinner early, which calls for a photoshoot! While waiting for Coach Momo and Coach Shuhua!

Up we go~~~  I did a short hyper-lapse with my iPhone till the battery died. I think its cool!! While taking the video, my arms almost cramp. HAHAHHA! Hope over to my Instagram here , if you wanna take a look at the hyper-lapse! ^^

This is our dinner place! Went upstairs to the balcony (on the top left area of the photo) for our dinner, and head down to level 2 for tea. Wow! Totally #enjoyinglife

Our dinner up here is amazing!! Fried tofu seems simple, but its so crispy on the outside and soft on  inside!!

Coach Jason is brewing tea! Wow! I was staring at him because I've never seen anything like this real life before!

This is the traditional way to drink tea! The taller glass is for smelling the tea's fragrance! Its the first time I had this experience!

Look at our youngest member in the family! She's so smart, she knows how to pose for pictures!

Came back just in time to see fireworks! Someone was setting it up randomly for their own fun.

This is how we look like while taking selfies. Hahaha!

And its Day 2! We've decided to head to the tourist-y Shifen & Jiufen! The trip up the mountains was probably too long Nico & Esther started doing random things on the train and laughing so loudly Oops! :X

This is my second time at 十分, and I was shocked to see the place looks different! They are having some renovation work, the back of the station is gone! I crossed over and I'm like hmmmm... Let's go take pictures! The train only comes every 1 hour, so we were rushing everywhere and only manage to cover a few spots nearby the station. Plus it was drizzling throughout the day, a different experience I'd say!

Enjoying our delicious Teddy Mochi cake! We all lost weight, to enjoy good food! And tada~~ We met a new friend from Shenzhen! She was travelling with her cousin, but because it was raining, her cousin decided to go back to the accommodation, leaving her travelling alone. We were looking at the map discussing which stop to go, then she spoke up suddenly. TADA, friends! HAHAHA! Since our itinerary is the same, so we traveled to Shifen and Jiufen together! Its amazing how we can make friends like that! I'm glad to have gotten this skill -- to talk to strangers and willing to make new friends!

If its not for my coach, I wouldn't be able to wear my dream clothings! Crop tops, High-waist Shorts! If its at the beginning of the year before I lost that 3kg of belly fats, the short's might be on the verge of popping out...

Searching for the best Jiufen's Yam ball.

Thank you Yawen for joining us on this short 1 day together! Enjoyed our time spent eating, laughing, running to chase the train, and taking pictures under the rain. Hahaha!

We're at the the iconic Jiufen 's phototaking area~ Wee~ Bringing SissyJ to Taiwan and taking touristy shots~ There is this happy feeling just by thinking about it now.

Beautiful lights @ Jiufen.

What's Taiwan without Nightmarket right!?!? After 2 attempts of "wanting-to-try" smelly tofu. I finally brought up my courage at my third try with our authentic Taiwanese Esther and our super onz Nico. Conclusion: No, it is not fragrant when I bite it, its still as smelly as it smells. I am not going to eat it ever again. T_T I got to drink lots of water and eat other food to get rid of the smell. Hurhurrrr.

Day3! Our class will start in the evening, so Shuhuajie decided to bring us to one of the famous Braised Pork Rice (卤肉饭) in town for lunch! Conclusion when it comes to going overseas: best to have locals to bring you around. Only they will know where is the most delicious food, not just tourist-y places we manage to search on the internet! I issued a last warning ticket to Nico for kept saying "我要蛋,我要蛋" Translates: I want egg, I want egg, after having her first braised egg in Taiwan. If you see, there're five eggs but four people sitting at this table? Two of the eggs are hers.
Went to Bank of Taiwan to exchange more New Taiwan Dollars because well.... We ate too much and overspent it. Its all worth it. Hahaha! Nico and I was shocked to see such a beautiful bank! The building structure looks like our old Supreme Court, or now called the National Gallery Singapore. Inside the bank, its a open office concept. You will see the whole place at a glance, and all the bank officers and tellers, different from Singapore's "tap card-open door-bam" concept.

Tidying up our hair before we meet the others during the evening class!

How do we look? Do we all look better? :P

Then we passed by another beautiful building. This is the National Musuem of Taiwan. Its so beautiful I got to do a signature jump shot to "check in".

Our Mr. Bean styled pancake in Taiwan called 车轮饼 which tasted 100x better than Mr. Bean pancakes.... with Tuna, Yam, Redbean, Custurd! Because its Taiwan.

Tada! Ended my first evening class with this group of coaches! This is also my amazing family! With no blood relations (other than SissyJ), these people are filled with love, lots of love! We helped one another with only one goal, to help each other to grow and be better! I cannot explain how thankful I am for SissyJ and Huizhenjie to bring me into this big family. Thank you so much, I love you all!

Disclaimer: You will not see any photos of us paying attention in class because the house rules are "no phones, no photos, no video recording" The cool thing is, there is no reception in this studio, thus no one will use their during class.

Day 4 in class~ I LAVVVVV TAIWAN LUNCH BOXES LAAAAA! They look good and taste good! #omnomnom

Night 4 in Taipei, we decided to head to the nearest Nightmarket again, Ningxia Nightmarket! So...  I love crepes. HAHAHHA! I saw people holding this bigass crepe and I was wondering why I didn't see it although I've walked to the end of the nightmarket! So I walked to and fro the night market for about 4 times before I spot this stall! OMG NO REGRETS!

Night 5 in Taipei, President Wanzi booked the whole place to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival after class with her team who attended this 4.5 days NCAB class! Its quite cool, we get to laugh and speak as loudly as we want. :X Steamboat buffet for the night. The food is only "SHIOK!"

Night 6 is Typhoon night in Taiwan! The wind was so strong we got to move in pairs and make sure we hook onto one another to prevent any of us from flying away!! Although we're all holding umbrellas, we were drenched from top to bottom LOL! It was dangerous but fun at the same time because we were just screaming and laughing and screaming and laughing while moving against the wind.

We decided to stay indoors and do some relaxing treatment ^^

Night 7 where everyone is to share their dream board to end the in-class sessions!! I shared mine! My dream is to qualify for all the company's vacation and bring my parents along!

End of in-class theories!

Day 8! WE. HAVE. GRADUATED!!!! After the 4.5 days of intensive training, we've graduated to be a better coach now! It was a strict course because every morning and after lunch break we have to report on time, if not we can't graduate! It was inclusive of an on-site practical which was disrupted by the typhoon, so we spent an extra morning to complete it when the Typhoon subside.

Too excited to see President Xiaofeng (Ella lookalike) to sign on our dream boards and graduation certificates!! She told us she is from the same hometown as Ella, and met her face to face before!!! OMG!

Our initial plan was to head down to Kaohsiung immediately after the end of our class, but Coach Momo decided have lunch together, and after lunch she brought us to 老树咖啡 (another place which only the locals would bring you to.) We surrounded the automatic-turning dessert shelf and almost cleared the shelf. LOL. That is how scary with a group of healthy women, whom aren't afraid of gaining fats!
And that's our cake! I ordered their signature Iced Coffee + Ice Cream, while sissyJ ordered their hot coffee. Muahaha! BOTH TASTE AWESOME! I probably know why Taitai loves hightea. Its relaxing after a 4.5-day mind blowing class! So after a chill out time with the rest of our Taiwan Coaches, we bid goodbye and head south to Kaohsiung!
.

.
3 hours of bus ride later
.
.
.

Four of us were all famished!!! We stayed over at Huizhenjie's younger sister, Huienjie's place, and she is too kind! Offered us a comfy place to stay, with new bedsheets for all of us, and even cooked dumplings for us!! THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST DUMPLING EVER, ACCOMPANIED WITH THE BEST SAUCE. At first SissyJ, Nico and I only wanted to eat 3, but we ended up eating probably a hundred of it within the 18hours of stay with them. The dumpling is homemade~ with the skin and fillings are done by themselves!! Once start, cannot stop x_x

Andddddddd they have 2 little lions in the house!!!!!!!!! White fur is Niuniu, she's a overweight female that looks like a Michelin tyres' mascot and the black fur is Xiongxiong! He is a male, and he loves to stay in the aircon room. Hahaha! Because his fur is too black I got to increase my exposure to almost the maximum to capture his features! So Niuniu loves to bully Xiongxiong but Xiongxiong loves Niuniu a lot! ^^

Sleepy Niuniu

& Greedy Niuniu! To lead her into the photo and face the camera, we just got to put some food there. Hahahaha! There! That's our lovely host, Huienjie on the left, SissyJ, Shroomsxz, Huizhenjie, and Nico! Geraldine didn't tag along with us because she was too tired, she decided to stay in Taipei for another night, so we decided to take more pictures with Niuniu & Xiongxiong to hurry her down south.

Day 9 spent in Kaohsiung with our two mini lions~~ The moment I saw Niuniu and Xiongxiong, when I woke up, my energy level immediately rise with excitement to see the two lil cuties! Fluffytail Niuniu and adorable Xiongxiong going out for a morning walk and we're heading to our breakfast place! Another place where Huizhenjie is raving about. (Poor Xiongxiong who doesn't appear clearly on photos because he's too dark! >.<)

Braised pork rice, and 3 portions of vegetables with fish soup! The braised pork is completely different from the ones we have in Singapore, and it was too delicious we ordered a second serving! Braised pork is thinly sliced and grilled, it kind of taste like Bakgua.

Muahaha! Finally a proper photo with both of them after breakfast!

"Woman have two stomach" its true. Esther brought us to this swimming pool where there's a ice shaving dessert stall~ Woohoo! We wanted yam, redbean, mango, and almost all the items on the menu but we decided to go with just two: Mango Pudding Ice and Greentea Azuki Ice-shaving! Greentea shavings accompanied with azuki (omg), additional yam topping 'cause we all love yam~ & Taiwan's yam is amazingly *slurpslurp* We just ate and finished it within a minute.

Taiwan's swimming pool! If you have a chance, is a must-go experience!! There is pool as deep as 6metres, Jacuzzi, hot spa, playground and the normal lap pool. There's also Sauna at the corner of the pool area~ One bad thing is: Everyone needs to wear a swimming cap to be able to use the facilities. It is due to hygiene purpose, but to us Singaporeans, I THINK ITS UGLY AND SHOULDN'T BE SEEN BY OTHERS! T_T Hahahaha! We didn't manage to swim this time round because of our schedule, so probably my 4th time in Taiwan, I will go try it out! <;

I was the only one who was enthu about taking a photo because the weather is too crazily hot! This picture shows a good background of the buildings in Taiwan! So Taiwan drama-like. Went back to chill for awhile more, and swallowed a dozen more dumplings before we started packing our luggage to head back home~~

Get what I meant by "always ready for camera?" LOL

We were taking pictures, collecting stamps and bidding goodbye for too long, we almost miss our flight LOL! SissyJ, Nico and I ran like mad to catch our last call flight, we forgot to refill our water bottles....... For the 4L-water drinkers, our 4.5 hours flight back was quite a torturous one... >.< Luckily to have met kind souls on the plane who donated some water to us!
This trip out was all worth it. I learnt personal development, I learnt to love my sister more than before, I learnt to be able to think differently/positively, I learnt why we are all unique in our own ways, I learnt teamwork, and many many more, I almost finish writing my newly purchased notebook.
Three items throughout my 4.5 days class which I will remember for a lifetime would be:
1. If two individuals think the same, then one of them would be a duplication/ extra.

2. Why do people not choose a better nutrition or higher grade of food? Because they think that they are not worth it... If described as a car, which car do we treat ourselves as? A Lamborghini or a Proton? The majority treat themselves as a Proton car. Why? As long as petrol is refilled, could be any petrol, the cheapest petrol, as long as it can move its fine. These majority think that as long as there is food to fill their tummy, they are able to continue moving, its fine. If you treat yourself as a Lamborghini, you will pump the most expensive petrol! You will treat yourself the most nutritious food, not canned food or processed food! Those are for wars!

3. "We're behind," the last words from Jim Rohn to all of us Wellness Coaches, "Every 1 person we helped to lose weight, 3 new babies are born. There is more obese people now than in 35 years ago when Mark Huges started Herbalife." The phrase "we're behind" is etched to my brain, even before Jim Rohn pass away, he is still thinking about the rest of the world, telling us to go and continue to help more people out there would needs help!

4. The environment we're in is important. If we hang around people who love to eat buffet, then we will keep having buffets. If we hang around people who love to exercise, then we will go exercise together. We choose our own environment to be in.

I love my Team, I love my Coaches, I  Herbalife 我 ♥ 賀寶芙

That's all for now! Sorry I took 2 months to finally post this because it was a long one, and I was having a hard time gathering all the photos. There're still photos not here, a lot of them HAHAHA! Hope to post them if I got a chance! ^^

Till next time!
