THOUGHTS: HAZE & MASK

Just when we were praising the clean air in the afternoon, the haze came back and smoked me hard (cause it can't hit me) LOL! Sorry I'm lame.

While I was on my way home, I walk passed the void decks and saw 2 men preparing to fall asleep under a shelter. >< He looked at me and the first thing I thought of was, "Gosh, are they going to sleep in this haze? I can't even handle the short 15 minutes walk home already..." I remembered the packet of mask lying at home, thus I decided to head home and bring it to them. The additional 5 to 10 minutes walk is nothing as compared to them spending the whole night out there.

The moment when I walked towards one of the Chinese man and handed him the packet of mask, his smile and the "relieve" facial expression I saw was... indescribable... I'm thankful I did what my instinct told me to do. He was happy and quickly shared one of the mask in the packet with the other Malay man. 

I'm not sure why they don't have a home to go to, but I hope I can do more to help them. Bringing them to a better place to avoid the current weather or something..

Went home and talked to Daddy about why is there homeless people ): and Daddy responded, "maybe due to family issues or other problems. We definitely can help them, by doing the things we can. You can go do social work!". 

First I got to be able to take care and support myself, then I can help the others. For now, I can do the little things which is within my reach! Another reason why I chose to change my life. I want to be capable. I want to be able to help more people!

I am proud of my lifestyle career. I am happy to be here.
