FART & POOP

Recently boyfriend has been farting a lot, thus I renamed him in my contacts as A. Poot Poot. (Anddddd, we started a contact name-changing fight. It is ridiculously funny while we're at it.)
It made me wonder if frequent farting is a disorder...
My wellness coach Ruth did mentioned before farting is awesome! We should fart 10 to 20 times a day! (Ohno, I need to fart more to be healthy) while reading on farts, I found this video that might explain a lil about farts. http://youtu.be/GTvnjaUU6Xk .
In conclusion, farting is healthy! If we don't fart, it could be due to our intestines are stucked! <inserts freaked out emoji> thus the air is unable to pass through. If you're thinking what might cause our large intestines to be clogged, then you got to know what is in your large intestines: Poop.

We let out waste through passing motion, urination and vomiting. Yes, vomiting is one of the ways as well. We eat sooo much everyday, of course we need to let the waste out too! Then you'l ask if we don't poop daily, can? OF COURSE NOT.
Our poop is stored in the rectum. When we do not empty it daily, it will accumulate. Over the years of accumulation, new waste coming from the small > large intestines will overflow the rectum and stuck in the large intestines ._. That's how air are unable to be released daily, it is not something to be happy about.  (And when our tummies are hungry and we can't give it food at the point of time, our body will look for nutrients in  the poop trapped and try to look for nutrients it can use = eating poop...) 😱
I use to poop once every 2-3days, and have this annoying tummy that I never gotten rid of, even after exercising 5days per week for 2months! Then I realise I've been going the wrong direction the whole time. It's 80% nutrition and 20% exercise! After I understand the importance of giving my body the 80% of nutrition needed (for 7months), I am able to poop at least once a day, SOMETIMES TWICEE!!  URMAZINGGGGG.

Haven't been starting on my 20% exercise, but definitely gonna do it. :p

STRESS

I guess I don't know fully what stress can do to a person. I've seen it on TV dramas, stress causing a huge impact on people - go insane or into depression, unable to be in the right state of mind to think. In my speeding-pace developing country, Singapore, every resident has at least one thing to get stress for. Could be finance, education, work, family or relationship. Because our country's leaders have dreams of building this into a better place, we've used 50 years to be where we are today.  Everyone plays a part in it which explains the stress existing in every family. In anyway, I'm thankful for Mr Lee KY for his dream.

Thursday Qtpie finally finish her CAs! Studying Optometry in NP, her polytechnic life is stressed out almost every day! I can feel this "I've got a a lot of things to do! I got no time! How!!" I can hear the inside screams but there was nothing I can do, only to stay by her side and make sure I'm with her. So 3 days ago was her last paper and I met up with her after that. I could see and feel she's "phew!"! For the past two days I'm thrilled! 50% about my life changing day and 50% about the end of her insanity studying till 6am in the morning. And AWESOME! I saw her weight and bodyfats going down down down! Then I realised: Stress is scarier than fats. <inserts freaked out emoji> I wish she can have a longer study break.
"For things to change, you have to change. For things to get better, you have to get better" quoted by Jim Rohn.
Everything is about the mind, body and soul. We all have to have a healthy mind, to have a healthy body, and together the soul would be filled with positivity. A relaxed mind can do wonders, your thoughts can do wonders. Think only the things you wish it happen, forget the things you wish you could avoid.

The first step: We have to learn and go for classes.
The second step: Apply the knowledge we've learnt and act upon it.
The third step: Humans make mistake. It is for us to learn to not make the same mistake.
The forth step: Make adjustments.
As long as we're willing to change and improve ourselves constantly, we will get the results we want. Achieve happiness from our success and experience this process to complete our learning.

EAT OUT

Speaker of the day! She was full of emotions while sharing because she could relate to all of these. We've been warned.
Thankful for every Friday's mini lunch class live from Taiwan! Speaker 灰妈妈 "Grayma" is awesome! She used to be eating out a lot thus causing her overweight issues. Thus sharing her experience and knowledge with us about "How much calories do you know you eat a day when you're outside"! Sorry it is in Mandarin. Oops! :p
This is insane.
Do you know? For us to have a proper weight management, our daily calories count got to be between 800 to 1200kcal per day! Which means we should only consume 400kcal per meal.
A bowl of famous Taiwan Oyster Vermicelli 蚵仔面线 is 415kcal. Then for a moment I thought then I could probably choose this as one of my meal choices. BUT NO. Vermicelli itself is mostly carbohydrates and fats. There isn't protein, vitamins and minerals which our body needs! Not taking into consideration the gravy/sauce that we go with the Oyster Vermicelli. The gravy is made with starch! It is one of the causes of larger-sized lower body (butts & thighs). High starch diet could also increase blood sugar fluctuation which would induce hunger and cravings (which means you're gonna eat more!) and risk of diabetes.

Cranberries are nutritious and has a bunch of health benefits, eg. preventing urinal tract infection! I got affected just months ago, and I could explain it in: It is an infection that you will never want it to happen to you. I cried non-stop because I felt helpless and the pain is @ level insane. However, Cranberries are extremely sour in nature that our tongue and stomach are unable to handle. Thus we'd go for dried cranberries or cranberry juices. The question would be, if it is sour to that extent, how did it turn sweet when we eat/drink them? Sugar. Lots-of-sugar.
Do you know? The best option to obtain optimal cranberry nutrients and least calories is extracts packed in capsules.

This is my first post after 3 years. Hope you've learnt new things today too!
